The Iğdır University Population and Migration Studies Application and Research Center (NGÇUAM) was established with the regulation published in the Official Gazette on May 17, 2019, issue number 30777. Our center aims to examine population and migration movements in Turkey and worldwide from a scientific perspective, support research in this field, and foster public awareness.​

NGÇUAM conducts innovative studies by analyzing the social, economic, and cultural dimensions of migration. The center adopts an interdisciplinary approach to explore different aspects of migration and contributes academically to this field. Additionally, it provides consultancy services to public and private sectors and supports the development of migration policies with scientific data.

Our center aims to increase knowledge and raise awareness in the field of population and migration by organizing training sessions, seminars, and events for students and researchers within Iğdır University.
